I got these sleeves for my 9-year-old to wear during soccer games when it’s a little chilly, and they’re fantastic! They’re similar to the adult version I use, offering lightweight, anti-scratch, and anti-friction protection. They fit well, stay in place, and provide a good balance of warmth and flexibility without being restrictive. The material feels durable, and the blue color is a nice touch. Perfect for outdoor activities or light protection for kids! I hope he won't have to test out the cut resistance feature...
These work great. Fit snugly on my hands. You can still use your phone, the signal transmits from your fingers to the screen.
We raise rabbits so there’s constantly little bunnies for kids to pick up and hold. My kiddos have learned how to handle them well without getting scratched. I’m talking baby bunnies, the adults are another story.
But when we have guests over, I needed a way to ensure no worries about them being scratched, so I ordered these kids sized scratch guard sleeves. They’re just the right size and color for just about any kid, probably up to about 13 or so depending their size.
What’s important is they have an ANSI cut rating of A6. This is a rating system for a material’s cut resistance established by the American National Standards Institute. A1 to A3 is for dull blades, A4 to A6 is for medium cut hazards, and A7 and up is for sharp tools and machinery. So these sleeves are actually rated for the upper end of the medium rating, which makes them ideal for my needs of the sharp rabbit claws.
I do find it strange that they show a picture of a kid with a knife pointed at its arm, I’d really like them to change that part. Even though this is cut resistant, I certainly wouldn’t trust it to protect my kids from the tip of a knife. The sleeves may have 80% PE wire with 20% metal wire, but they’re still mostly made of cloth material so don’t place too much trust in these and always make sure there’s adult supervision.
These are marketed as "kids" but I am an adult female who wears a medium in t-shirts and they fit me pretty good. They are comfortable and help protect my arms during yardwork.
The glove came with 2 cloth gloves. The glove pinky finger length is about 1 inch longer than my finger. The wire material is close enough to prevent small gauge 1/8 inch diameter to poke through. Not perfect fit but Good value for protection.
This cutting resistant glove has been a big help in cutting anything in my kitchen. It protects my hands and I'm able to cut anything without worrying.Highly recommended.
First and foremost, these gloves are GREAT. I got them for using when working with wood and building/fixing things, and they are comfortable and do the job nicely. They are cut resistant-- I tested it out ;), and there was not even a scratch on the gloves.More than that, though, know that this company has AMAZING customer service. I originally got a size Large of these gloves, as I though it would fit me. (When I bought other gloves in the past, I'm pretty sure they were size Large.) However, they were just a bit too tight for me. Maybe my hands have grown since then, or maybe these gloves run a drop smaller. (Check their size chart before you buy!)I reached out to the company about this, and they were extremely responsive. They sent me a new pair of gloves-- Extra Large, which arrived the next day. If you buy these gloves, know that there's a company standing behind their product, who wants you to be pleased.Great product, great company. What more could you ask for?! :)
These gardening gloves are not only super functional but also so pretty! Now I can handle my roses in style without worrying about getting poked by thorns. The forearm protection is fantastic, and the gloves are breathable and comfortable to wear for extended periods. Plus, the touch screen feature is a nice bonus! If you want to keep your hands safe while still looking great in the garden, these are a must-have.
I normally use MaxiFlex Endurance gloves but thought Id try these. Glad I did. The fit is excellent. No loose fitting areas at all. They feel thick and protective without actually being thick. Movement is unobstructed. You can pickup a penny off a flat floor. I have been using them daily for a couple weeks so far. The only wear I notice is the letters coming off. I dont consider this to be a problem for me at all. Especially since everything that is supposed to be important about these gloves is so spot on.I will continue purchasing once these wear.
As a test, I took my sharpest knife and grabbed the blade end with a gloved hand and gave it a good squeeze and held it. I felt nothing but pressure and the glove was not damaged. Being a DIY'er who works with a lot of sharp hand tools I will definitely get a lot of use out of these gloves (12 pair). They are also not as thick as traditional yard work gloves and as such will increase my dexterity and allow me to get a firmer grip on the tool I am using. The coating on the palm side of each glove will also contribute to a more solid and firm no slip grip. I am happy with this order.
These cut resistant arm sleeves are comfortable and lightweight. The cartoonish elephant is very prominent, making them seem like they are for younger kids.
If younger kids are the main expected user, they seem to run a little large. The photo is of the sleeve on an adult medium sized woman (approx 5'6", 140lbs) and it's not super snug. This is neither good nor bad, just useful to know, in case you are looking for something more fitted. I like them as is.
I ordered them to try for an older person with thin skin but am not sure if the elephant logo will pass muster. We shall see, but since these are listed specifically for kids, that's not a drawback either.
Based on comfort and function, I'd recommend these protective sleeves, especially for kids and elephant enthusiasts.
I got these because I'm building a deck which will have a galvanized metal roof and the galvanized metal can have sharp edges and it's best to handle it with som good cut resistant gloves. These are working great and the coating provides some nice grip. The large size fit my hands well and they are also quite comfortable to wear and I have a very minimal loss in dexterity while wearing them.
I work in a freezer warehouse, and these gloves are a lifesaver! They keep my hands warm, flexible, and fully protected from sharp objects (ANSI A9 cut resistance). The grip is amazing—no more slipping on icy boxes. Unlike other gloves, they don’t feel stiff, and they’re PFAS-free, so no skin irritation.A colleague borrowed mine for a day and ordered his own immediately. If you work in extreme cold, these are the gloves you need!
The overall craftsmanship is great, and the colors are particularly appealing.I ordered an XL size, but they felt more like a Large; after working with one pair, they broke in a little and were OK.The 12-pack will last for a long time, especially if you perform a lot of heavy work. The current selling price is $44.99, which is approximately $3.75 each pair, which is quite reasonable given that you can buy a far poorer quality pair for roughly $5.See the attached photos.
These gloves are as promised, cut resistant! I have been using them to handle carbide router bits with zero injuries. Normally I wear XL gloves, the XXL fit just right. Consider buying one size up. The durable rubberized palm material is grippy and aids in grasping objects. They allow for free movement of my fingers. I recommend these gloves!
I ordered these because I had to move some items where black widows were lurking. I figure if it can stop a knife it can stop a spider. These are SUPER comfortable. I'm a woman and the small size 7/5 fit me perfectly. It's easy to move in them. They are flexible & tight enough to give me extremely good dexterity in them, unlike many gloves. (Speaking of "Dexterity" they do remind me of Dexter a bit, lol.)I store them with a hair band holding them together. (See the second picture.) That way I can be sure not to lose one.I'll be using these a lot in the future. Definitely a good value!
These no-cut gloves are a nice comfortable fabric with a nonslip coating on the palms of the hand. They run true to size as large fit my hand snuggly. If I'm cutting up boxes or at work where there is a chance of cutting myself I wear these gloves to protect my hands. In this case, I got 12 pairs which makes this a good value purchase.
I have used a wide variety of ANSI Cut Gloves for working on cars, rockhounding in the field, and landscaping. I go through a couple pairs of gloves like this every year.- You can use your Smartphone with these gloves on.- Price point is inline with competition.- Perfect size L/9 Gloves. Note: Some brands actually run slightly longer fingers than this one.- The Mesh on the back is flexible, but looks like it will breath and still be protective.- Much Longer wrist protection on these gloves than the competition.- Palm looks like Nitrile that is coated with a more grippy layer on the outside.I think that I have a regular Large size hand for a person that is 5'11", weighing 185 lbs. And I almost always purchase gloves in Large/9. The fit on these gloves is perfect.Dexterity is also good on these, as I can pick up some finer things using my fingers. And as mentioned earlier, you can easily use your phone (swiping, pointing, selecting, everything) with these gloves on. It is common for gloves manufactured with Nitrile to struggle in this area. These are great.
These gloves are comfortable and resist cuts well. They don't protect against punctures. I could easily feel the screw tip poking through with even moderate pressure. But they are for protecting against slicing, which seemed to work.Neither serrated bread or steak knives, nor sharp kitchen knives cut the fabric top, so they seem to protect as advertised. I didn't try using a saw, or anything electric.I'm not sure why they have the rubberized palmar side. It may be because only the dorsal side has slice-resistant fibers.
I've never tried "cut resistant" gloves like this before, but they are comfortable and fit quite well!!! Dexterity is also good and I like how the glove goes a ways up the wrist for a bit of extra protection!!! Most definitely useful when working with items such as knives, sheet metal work and handling glass, especially if it's broken!!! Would be a good idea to add a pair of these into the PPE Gear List or throw a pair in the car for emergency purposes!!! Most definitely a good investment for safety and wellbeing!!!
The price is not to bad im size S and fit perfectly, the quality and comfort is perfect 100% recommend, cut resistant gloves offer excellent protection and comfort for high risk tasks like woodworking The reinforced thumb adds durability is very comfortable for long periods of use
These gloves are near the top of the ANSI ratings for cut resistant gloves. They are A7 rated (4000-4999 grams of cut resistance). The top of the rating is A9. I am a knife collector, and I have been "bitten" a time or two while cleaning or sharpening my knives, and decided that these gloves would keep that from happening. The gloves are fabric with a neoprene coating on the palms and fingers. I tried pressing the blade of one of my knives into the palm of the gloves and could see no damage, likewise, no damage with a slicing move across the palm. The gloves still work with screen interactions on phone or equipment touch screens. Sizing is accurate if you follow the measurement guide in the listing. Great product. Highly recommended!
