This product is really nice, it does prevent cuts but not stab wounds. Be careful with the tip of the knife.This is my second order. Be sure to order extra large, I have normal size hands, I'm only 5' 10" and you can see from the photo there's not extra room
This material so easy to hold items. They fit well i ordered L and they still have room but do not fall off and are not bulky. Used for also picking up yard debris with thorns and never felt anything. Recommended. Great item for the money!
ON My Honor, I swear to you that these probably saved my right hand.I'm a metal fabricator, and I have one part in particular that needs to have the edge buffed on the buffing wheel, but it's got a tight corner that likes to get snagged. I've been using a smaller buffing wheel that was a bit more "worn out", and it fit nicely... This newer one was too big to make the turn in My part without touching the wheel..I figured out a "loose Grip" style that kept me from getting hurt if it caught.I was buffing away, and I accidentally tilted the part upwards, and it not only dug into the wheel, but it spun the part around and smacked my right hand across the knuckles with some serious force.It was one of those times when you don't even want to look.. You know it hurt, but you don't know if there is any damage...Well? it broke the skin on 2 fingers through the gloves. That frightened me, as If I had not recently bought the gloves because of the several times I've had a part get flung, I have no doubt that it would have seriously damaged my right fingers.The gloves didn't stop the impact obviously, but they absolutely kept the laser cut stainless steel part from removing the skin from my fingers. Miraculously, the gloves only had a black line across the knuckles from where the metal hit. They didn't even get damaged!They made a believer out of me!I'm not making this up! I'd post a photo, but amazon wouldn't allow that for obvious reasons.All I can say is, the gloves are in fact cut resistant! I will not use the buffer without them from this point forward.Talk about a close call, and lucky purchase timing?Don't be "too cool" for safety gloves! They're not going to stop a table saw or anything like that, and I probably pushed the limits of what they are designed to do, but none the less, they kept me from getting cut!ooof!
Just started my wood whittling project hobby.Started loving these gloves. They are nice fit and cut resistant. Just finished my first carving. About 3” tall from walnut. Just focus on carving and let gloves take care of protection.I bought a small size for my son too.
I normally wear large sized gloves and these fit my hands perfectly. Sizing is correct.Cut resistance is good but they are somewhat slick. This character lessens your ability to grip. There are many uses that these would still be good for. However, I would not recommend them for working with sheet metal. They do grip a Victorinox textured knife handle well.I would recommend these gloves dependent on your intended use.
