Cut resistance: ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 standard for glove selection criteria

The ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 standard has established ASTM F2992-15 as the test method for measuring cut resistance and offers a 9-level scale (called out as A1-A9) based on the gram score. This scale spans from 200 grams to 6,000 grams of cut resistance.

Prior to 2016, this standard (called ANSI/ISEA 105- 2011) used a 1-5 scale but was updated to allow for more accurate identification of protection in PPE.
