I've tried a few elbow-length gloves recently and this one is a keeper. I have long thin fingers, and the large works really well on me.I was looking for something I could tighten around the elbow (it prevents dirt and particles from getting inside the glove), and this one had a Velcro for this purpose. However that Velcro really doesn't tighten much at all, barely an inch or so. You can see the original glove on the right, and the added Velcro I installed on the left in order to have it tighter and fit my arm.The glove is very comfortable which is why I took the time to adjust it. Leather gloves were so rigid and the seams so painful, whereas this one allows much more movement. And the cute green design makes it less obvious when it's dirty. All around, almost perfect.
Bought large, my hands are average size but opted for large due to heat. Fit to elbow. Very nice fit, durable and great price. Might buy another pair to have in case they aren’t available down the road.
I bought these in a S. They're good quality. I use them to pick lemons because the trees have thorns. They are good for gripping tools as well.
I’ve been using these gardening gloves for several weeks now and they absolutely protect my hands and forearms. The canvas is thick and the padding is in all the right places-fingertips and palms. I love that they don’t stiffen after they get wet like leather gloves, because how do you not get your gloves wet while gardening. I threw them in the washer and they came out fine. I do wish they had a size Small though. My hands are very small and although the medium is ok, I have space at the end of my fingers. I recommend.
These gloves come in a cute cactus print design. My hands are on the small size and I have about 1/2" of extra room at the end of each finger. They give me great protection when I'm pruning my roses and I also like that my lower arms, as well as my hands have protection from the sun. The palms have extra padding sewn on them, making it more comfortable for when you have to pick up brush and rosebush cuttings. I haven't washed mine yet, but I think they will do fine in the washing machine and dryer. I tried out the finger tips with my phone, and I was able to use the touch screen. All in all, a great pair of gardening gloves.
